Puma continues to look to its archives and bring pieces back to life with a contemporary twist. the current addition comes as an expansion to the Mirage franchise with the PUMA Mirage Sport, a sneaker influenced by the energetic world of DJ culture.
With the first Puma Mirage sneakers showing up all the way back in the 70s, this model has had near 50 years to both grow and blossom into the shoe it is today. The result is a mash-up of both original retro-style fused with contemporary technology and design.

A mixture of structures and layers decorate the outside of the shoe with mesh, suede, synthetics and foam all making an appearance. PUMA’s design Lead Danny Taylor stated “we wished to expose the manufacturing process and the flaws that are available in the early sampling process of a sneaker” and because of that select outlining such as the subjected foam under the collar and disconnected edges are all still present.
