The Off-White x Air Jordan 2 low has Been delayed

The Off-White x Air Jordan 2 low is, hands down, one of Virgil Abloh’s a lot of controversial collaborations to date. taking on two of the AJ2’s OG colourways but in a low-top format, he’s added that signature Off-White spice that makes both shoes a little different from the rest. originally set to drop this week, both pairs have now been delayed – and here’s everything that you need to know!

Launching in both “White” and “Black” palettes, the silhouette was created by the legendary Bruce Kilgore back in 1987 and was originally made in Italy, resulting in an extra premium finish. While we’re not entirely sure if this version will be made there, there’s no doubt that they’ve tried to reflect the sense of luxury on both colourways, infusing them with various leather textures and brogue-style perforations for a sartorial aesthetic.

The a lot of interesting thing about this Air Jordan 2 collab is the Nike Air midsole underfoot that has been given a cracked exterior for a vintage vibe. We’re not entirely sure if we’re feeling this detail, but we absolutely need to see these in-person first before we jump to conclusions. MJ’s signature is scrawled across the lateral side while the medial wall is saved for the OW x Nike technical verbiage that we all know and love, finalising the design.

Arriving in a special edition box, the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 2 low is set to drop on November 12th at select retailers. let us know which colourway you’ve loving the most, and in related news, the Air Jordan 1 element GORE-TEX “Light Bone” joins the wintertime line-up!
