The three stripes is heading to east Asia this summer for the adidas Ultra boost 2.0 ‘City Pack’. Paying homage to three major metropolises, each pair features palettes that represent each city’s respective country. Here’s what you need to know!
The Seoul pair borrows hues from South Korea’s Taegukgi flag, with red, white, and blue accents featuring throughout. Tokyo’s version builds on an all-white base with red on the tongue, symbolising the Land of the Rising Sun. Shanghai’s UB, on the other hand, features China’s love of red and gold, which contrasts against a stealthy black upper.
Each pair is crafted from Primeknit for a comfortable sock-like fit, and they’re printed with “The brand With The three Stripes”; text in multiple languages, emphasising the pack’s inspiration. full length boost midsoles also make an appearance down below, painted in complementary colours depending on the shoe.
