Get Your Claws into the Nike dunk low “Year Of The Tiger” This Chinese new Year

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2022 is the Year of the Tiger. The Beaverton brand have never shied away when it pertains to CNY-inspired sneakers and this year they’ve gone all out with the Lunar new Year drops. After taking first looks at the Air Jordan 1 low OG and blazer Mid, we’re now getting up close and personal with the Nike dunk low “Year Of The Tiger”!

Taking the theme quite literally this time around, this feline-themed dunk low is crafted from ultra premium suede. The back two-thirds of the shoe are painted in all-black while the front third boasts a crisp light grey finish. Inverted tiger striping is embroidered around the heel, while a rose gold color makes its way to the inner sockliner for an opulent look and feel.

A tiger camo pattern is stitched onto the Nike Swoosh branding and lacing system, while an even smaller Swoosh decorates the lateral toe area. underneath it all you’re presented with a clean white midsole, and to round it all off, the outsole has been given a translucent finish to showcase even a lot more striping underfoot, finalising the wild design.

Apparently, the Nike dunk low GS “Year Of The Tiger” will be made for kids only though we still have hope that adult sizes will surface soon.
