Even though we don’t know much about it, the Yeezy 700 ‘Teal Blue’ is one of the most hyped Kanye West sneakers of 2019. A mix between the ‘Inertia’ and the ‘Wave Runner’, adidas accidentally leaked official images of the hotly anticipated sneaker yesterday, and there are a few major design changes that are definitely worth talking about.
While the general colour palette has been retained, a few shades have been switched around for a more balanced design. featuring the ultra premium suede, leather, and mesh construction that we’ve all come to love, the deeper blues at the toe box have been dipped in a dark grey, while the grey portion around the quarter panel has been painted in a lighter tone. To add to this, the off-white mesh that takes over the entire shoe has been considerably darkened, making it more suitable for the autumn months.

Another design change that’s definitely worth mentioning is the outsole. before it was painted in the classic gum rubber hue, but now, it takes on a cream tone that bears a striking resemblance to previous Yeezy 700 releases. The striking orange laces have also been replaced with a dark brown pair, and while this may be controversial to some, we have to admit that we’ve loving the new look.
